Extreme photographs...... not for the squemish

was browsing through google trying to find information on the veil of pregnancy as I have a rash on my chin and stomach and i came across this photo.

it shocked me a little at first, now I am not sure whether its art, disgusting or beautiful?

what do you think? if you are squemish, dont look!

Hmm I'm not sure. It looks pretty gross, but I understand why some people would find it beautiful, as giving birth is the most natural thing in the world. I think it must be amazing to have a photo like that tocapture those first few seconds with your new born not that I'll be getting any nudie ones done straight after the birth! Lol xx

I don't like extreme art, I think if you are creative and talented enough you don't need to shock people.

I wasn't hugely offended, it hasn't put me off my cereal bar , but I can see why some people won't like it!!!

Birth is a very natural and beautiful process. Being placed and posed on an artificial back ground with artificial lighting using a newborn and a placenta as props is definitely not natural or beautiful in my eyes!

its not my cup of tea i much prefer to see mums and newborns having skin to skin minus the cord and placenta there are so many lovely shots to be hadl. I think its just attention seeking i mean are you really going to have that pride of place on your mantle???
