expressing help

Ok so every feed I try to express a bit wen he is done this mean every 1-2 days I get about 4oz enough for one feed as he is greedy guzzler. Is this normal seems such a small amount it does mean in the evening now about. 7 where he normally is sat on boob till 10 he has a bottle and then naps so boob refills for his feed before bed

I think everybody is different when it comes to expressing, sometimes I can get 3oz per boob somethimes I can barely get 3oz between them.

Are you expressing from both boobs or just the boob he has fed from, could be that he is just really good at emptying you.

Also what are you using to express? Using the tommee tippee electric pump I found I could barely get anything, as soon as I moved to the medela swing its much better x

Also could be that your body is really in tune with baby and knows exactly how much he needs, therefore doesn't need to make more for expressing ifykwim x

Could be ladies and I'm not 100% sure what pump it is as my friend lent it to me its electric tho? He feeds from both sides every feed about 15mins on each so while he on one side I do the other with the pump if that makes sense? It could be my body yes how would I change it so it produced more? Thanks for responses x

He feeds from both sides every feed about 15mins on each so while he on one side I do the other with the pump if that makes sense? It could be my body yes how would I change it so it produced more? Sorry to go off topic put how do you manage holding the pump in and keeping baby in place at the same time!

I express every morning from the boob that LO doesn't feed from. I get 50ml on a good day!

I get nothing if baby is not latched. But if I attach him, we work well together and we got 5ounces off one boob this morning I use a manual pump while he is working the other breast and I think you just find a good position. I pump off the right as I have a fast let down which he is not too fond of at the moment.
