Experience with digi tests

Really annoyed with myself, how hard can it be to POAS?!

Tried a digi test and waiting for the results THEN start to read the instructions.
"Throughout testing NEVER hold the test stick pointing upwards."
What have I done? Yep, pointed it the wrong way up, so have a blank results screen.

Anyone else done what I did and did it effect the outcome?
i.e. say not pregnant when you were?

I got a dud when I used one for this pregnancy.
The timer thing was showing for ages and ages then a little picture of a book came up grrrr, gutted. They're not cheap either x

Pee in a plastic cup and dip the test stick in!

Much easier and this works for ALL tests!

I peed in a cup dipped it in then tried to hold it flat, i didnt read instructions lol, after ages it came up
