Episiotomy question

Anyone else find that some days it was more sore than other days? I'm worrying I'm going backwards again. Yesterday it was absolutely fine and today it's a bit achy and sore again xx

Mine still gets aches now and mine was done nearly 4 years ago!! x

Oh god. Lol. I don't think the piles help. They just make the whole area feel sore don't they? Cos you would know about that too. Sadly xx

Oh yes, I'm good friends with my piles, they refuse to leave so I have accepted them as an extra appendage x

I find it's sore when i crouch down to bath Ryan, so uncomfortable.

I found mine was sore and achy for quite a few wks (had one with my eldest)

It does get better tho, maybe you've over done it? xx

possibly....does seem to feel worse if i get tired......its 3 weeks since i had her but my stitches burst which set me back...maybe its just it healing again...cos things do tend to feel worse as they are nicking together dont they...xx

Mine got infected so took a while longer to heal too a good few weeks

Your braver than me having a look hun i had mine nearly 13yrs ago and still not had a look!!!! xxxxx

Awwww bless you. It was so I could see if it looked infected. It's all pink which I am guessing is a good sign xx

Mine did hurt for couple of weeks but then the scar healed and felt a little tight. Now I dont even remember I had it, cant feel it at all. I had horrendous piles after labour as well, feel for you hun.

I am now thinking the Germaloids cream has been making it sore! Only been using that two days after prescription stuff ran out. It's been really sore again for two days. So I'm wondering. Just looked again it's a definite new slit. No way it's going to nick together. But as long as it stops hurting soon it will be ok. Don't think it will affect sex life. Will find all this put at six week check I guess xx

When its fully healed you'll forget you ever had it, it doesnt cause me any problems with the sex life, the things we go through eh? good job theyre worth it xx

12 months later mine hasnt healed right I didnt have an infection or anything just never all closed up. It doesnt hurt me and hasnt made any difference to sex and oh said he didnt even realise till I mentioned it a few weeks back.

If its a big ish split you may find it wont knit together but it will heal eventually,

There was a big gap between my stitches and i now have a "dip" in my skin (near my bum lol) but it hasnt caused problems xx

Yeah im not bothered if it never looks same again. So long as it stops hurting and heals sometime soon and allows me a normal life and sex life xx

It will heal eventually just feels like its taking forever dont it!

(im back to gp tomorrow cos my c section wound still infected )

Easy for me to say i know but try not to over do it if you can

My mum made me have salt baths too to help the healing xx

any advice for piles?? lol....the other vain of my life....i swear to god i had no idea these things could be so painful....

i can walk about for more than ten mins or it feels like my insides gonna fall out my bum!!! i can see surgery for these babies coming my way xx
