Hi,
We've been offered embryoscope monitoring. It's a new fancy thing where they take computer pictures of the embryos every 10 minutes while they are incubating and hopefully they can then identify the best ones easier.

We think we're going to go ahead with it, even though it costs an extra £360 just in case it makes a difference.

I was wondering if anyone else had chosen this and did you think it was worth the extra money?

I havent been offered it but I have read about it and research that has been done on it and if I was given the chance I would 100% go for it, its all about how quick they devlop isnt it and they can identify which ones are most likely to be genetically normal.... go for it!!! x

Yes that's right. It's supposed to identify the best blastocysts to put back in. However it's all still new so its not know is there are any negative effects.

We've pretty much decided to go for it as we need to give ourselves every opportunity during this NHS cycle as we're not sure if/when we can afford another one if this one fails.

when are you having the cycle you should get involved in the ivf thread... I deffo dont think it can have any negative effects so deffo go for it ive read really good stuff about it x
