Any recommendations ladies? I'm expressing quite a lot and feeding Alexander from a bottle while we're out and about so I think the time has come to invest!

Looking for good quality at a reasonable price. I can usually express 4oz with a manual pump it's just so time consuming! Feeling like a pumping machine at the moment!! x

Personally I have the lanisoh double pump and have used it twice and loved it

My friend who's express fed both her babies and tried so many different pumps recommended this one - I read a lot about pumps and the madela swing comes up as very highly rated too :)

Ooh I'll be stalking this as I've been wondering the same. I has the medela mini last time but no idea where I put it. It was ok but I wanted to try something different. I'm torn between the medela swing and the avent comfort electric as apparently you don't have to lean forward with this one which is definitely appealing!

I love my medela swing, get 4-5 ounces in less than 10 mins with no effort

I've got a tommee tippee and no complaints. midwife recommended the medala swing but it was more than we wanted to pay for occasional expressing.

I used the mother are electric pump. I found it better than the hospital one

Thanks ladies. Just picked up the medela swing fx it does the job! xx

It'll change your life haha! X x

I'm about to try it out, you can tell that motherhood has changed me - far more excited than I should be about a breast pump hahaha x

Can I jump in on this thread and ask for more info on the medela swing. I'm currently expressing every 3 hours so as to bottle feed while my nipples heal. I'm not producing enough milk though and so am still having to put her on my less damaged side but she still isn't satisfied. I am only getting about 30ml per boob, occasionally up to 60ml, but it takes at least 20 mins so I'm spending 45-60 mins at a time pumping.

We are debating getting the Swing as have read so many reviews that they get lots out quickly but am unsure if this is an issue with my pump or if it's my supply. £100 is a lot to spend to find out the answer!

Have you tried hot flannels on your boobs to encourage the flow?

I know 100 is a lot - however they fetch good money on eBay if it didn't work out and at least you can say you tried

I'd give it a go as It could over the course of a few days get your supply going :)

Medela swing all the way - fantastic pump! Worth the money :-)
