I never thought I would say this, but I'm in love with my new hoover! I am sooo sad, before I was pregnant to say I was a party girl was an understatement! Now I'm more like my nan!

Well yesterday, after saving up for 5 months I brought a Dyson DC08 animal hoover and its the nuts!!! I have 2 cats and a dog (all black) and the hair in my carpets is terrible. This thing really picks it up. I already have 2 carrier bags full of hair!  Its so disgusting!!

Can't believe I am so excited about hoovering. Just thought I would share!!!

fooking helll misslarue! i got a new Dyson two days ago and im in love too. You might have noticed my absense onthe forum over the last two days. wEll now you know why.

I think everyone should own a dyson! I went round the whole house with it and i had to empty the dit thing twice! then i went round again and it picked up more crap!!! im 100% impressed! and its no effort at all to hoover! It glides over the carpet!

i love you for loving your dyson as much as me! Have you named your yet? ive callled mine Dylan . The kids came home today and said 'mummy how many times have you used Dylan today?' and i said ''only twice'' - i lied! ive actiually gone over the living room carpet three times today! I can't bare a crumb on the floor now you know!

 my god ive made a whole post about my new dyson!

Got to go! the kids have dropped crumbs all over my carpet!! Dyson calls!!!

My mil bought me a dyson about 18 months ago, I love it! I actually enjoy vacuuming the house!

Be careful if you do the curtains with him - I managed to pull the rail out of the wall with mine - a very old DC01 - but I'm still obsessed with hoovering.

Hi, my name's Tracy and I'm a hooveraholic

Mr Dyson would be proud to hear that ! Mine ( you wont believe this ), Ive built it myself. I work for dyson, and Mr dyson believes that every employee should know how it is made, therefore you build your own and then you buy it for twenty five pounds...mine is superb and i wouldnt swap it for anything in the world, also you should see the new hand held ones now..theyre excellent for small jobs!

how does one go about getting a job in Dyson?

oooooooooooooooooooo handheld dyson  I've got a black and decker handheld for the stairs and it's crap - i NEEEEEEED a dyson one

well , i started by applying and then i got the interview and then the job..

i prefer Henry. i had a dyson and it died

I love you for loving your Dyson too!!!!! Here is a pciture of my new baby (I will def have to think up a name, something fitting!)

I have not stopped hoovering since yesterday. I've just done under my bed and all the curtains in my house. I've even used all the attachments! I have been justifying spending £290  on a hoover all week, but after finally getting it, its worth every penny. God bless James Dyson

thats a posh looking beasty misslarue. no wonder you love him!
is the cylinder one as good as the upright?

Perhaps roxanne could tell us that
roxanne which Dryon is the one you'd reccomend chick?

I would have preferred the upright, but it was another £70 and I didn't want to wait another couple of months to save up (what with christmas aswell). I wanted it NOW, NOW, NOW!! I really had to have the animal one for all the damn dog and cat hairs in my carpet. I didn't want my lil boy crawling around in it all. I had visions of picking him up in a white baby grow covered in them
Also, I live in a little bungalow and only have a tiny broom cupboard so was easier for me to fit a cylinder in it.
Basically I'm just impatient!

I cant say budge cos theyre all good! and which each and every one their suction gets better

mine is the vroom but i have bought the animal tool for it aswell, you could of just gotten a cheaper upright one and gotten the animal tool for £20 missalure ;)
