My mum has Isabella on a Tuesday night and all day Wednesday, the thing is my mums cat scratches Isabella every week she goes round there. I dont like it. I am an animal lover and have my fair share of animals including 3 dogs, 6 cats and 2 ponies!!! Im now worried she needs to have a tetanus injection???????????? Do you think she does???? Also what would you say to if you were in my position?????

yes i would definatly say something, purley for the fact that the cat might catch her eye next time. my family are also masisve animal lovers, my mum has 5 cats and 2 dogs we have 2 cats and one dog.

im sure your mum will understand, she might just have to keep an eye on the cat and not leave them alone untill she gets a bit older, if its something thats is worrying or stressing you out, i would definatly just mention that you have noticed she gets scratched.

I'd hit the roof. But then I'm not known for my diplomacy.

I know they are supposed to be clean animals and I'm sorry if I offend anyone....BUT...Cat's stand in litter trays and dig/ scratch around their poo. To then scratch and break the suface of my babies skin would freak me right out.

I'd definately say something. And I'd take Isabella to see if she needs a tetnus.

I'd just tell your mum that Isabella has cat scratches and ask for them not to be left alone together, which they shouldn't be anyway to be honest. My cat scratches Isaac but he teases her and she is a bit tetchy anyway what with being a rescue cat. I tell him everyday not to tease her and he still does when he thinks she wants to play and she doesn't. His scratches never turn nasty but if they did I would get straight down the doctors.

:)

OMG yes i would! tell her to keep the cat away from the baby, goodness me! my boyf annoys me with the cats im always havin to tell him to keep them away from the baby dammit he dont listen grr

awww bless her! its not on, the cat scratching her, i have had a cat scratch and its sore, my mum has a cat and she goes outside when i bring Glenn round, awww the poor cat sees her bum but nevermind as long as she doesnt get the chance to scratch or get hairs all over him.

I will say something. I do not leave Isabella alone with my cats, dogs or ponies.

So do you think I should ask the gp if she needs a tetanus?

Give the doctors a ring and speak to one of the nurses, she will let you know if she needs one or not, hope you get it sorted soon hun.x
