Dying from flu

Hey everyone

Not one to moan if i just a a cough or the sniffles, the past two days i haven't been able to walk from flu like symptoms. Have taken Beechams 3 times in last 2 days to take away the edge of the pain, but i'm worried its harming bump.

Has anyone else been this poorly lately? I know theres alot going around...

Poor thing!

Take care of yourself. I would go to the docs if you are that bad as they can best advise what is OK to take still.

Keep warm and drink plenty of fluids (god I sound like my mother! )

Your absolutley right, just spoke to Doc, said to only take Paracetomol, should clear up in a few days, just a virus of some kind going around.

I'm off work Tuesday, Wed & Thursday each week (work all through weekend) and yesterday on my first day off I woke up with the cold! Just stayed in my bed most of the time and drank lots of hot orange juice. Thankfully my bones are not sore. Hope you feel better soon x

Aww sorry to hear you are feeling so rough. I know it's really rotten when you can't take much. I think it's the decongestant is the thing in Lem-sip and Beechams which isn't recommended in pregnancy.

Like the other ladies have said keep your fluids up. Plenty of hot (home made) lemon drink (slices of lemon, some honey and hot water) and paracetemols should help get you through.

Thought i'd be on the mend by now but no..... does not want to shift! Back to bed i go with hot water bottle. Bump thinks its great and won't stop kicking. He he, at least their having fun!
