if you are breastfeeding you are advised to not use them for the first 3 weeks
It will depend on your baby.how intrested they are..I personally started with an orthodontist one as i have heard others on here saying once there little ones were on a particular type of dummy their LO's wouldn't swap.
It is now advised you put your LO to sleep with a dummy for prevention of Sids ( if they will take it)
Dylan has his when he is tired , occasionally if he has been unwell or if i can't feed him immediatly like in the middle of a supermarket...He now isn't bothered with his dummy and prefers his thumb ..
