Due to be induced on Tuesday

So I had a sweep today at 41 weeks exactly, and the midwife said that she could only just insert 1 fingertip into my cervix. So she's said that I will have to go into hospital overnight the night before to have a pessary inserted to get things started before the actual induction.
I know I still have time for things to happen naturally but I'm really nervous about the whole thing, I really don't want to have to be started!
Does anyone have any advice or anything they can give me as the midwife didn't really tell me much today. Thanks in advance ladies xxx

Hey! I was the same, I had a sweep and was only a fingertip. I went and got induced on the Friday morning, baby was born at 02.38 on the Sunday morning. Xx
