Doppler Disapointment

Ok was so excited to use doppler when it arrived...waited 11hrs for it to charge but when I unplugged charger green light still wasn't on to say it was fully charged. So I though I'd give it a try anyway....all I got was a terrible static and radio whistle that drove me to frustration....is it normal for them to have so much static and whistle like that?

Even if I could pick up heartbeat I wouldn't have heard it over the terrible noise!

I contacted the people I hired it from and they think it's faulty so are sending another out....fingers crossed it works x

Anyone had this prob?

Mine started all staticy when I was just picking it up and moving it and applying the gel, but once it was still on my tummy it would go quiet.

But it was then noisy to move it again to find baby's heartbeat... so I kept the headphones away from my ear during those times. You need it up loud so you can hear the heartbeat, but when you have a good connection with your tummy the static should stop.

Hope the new one works better!
