I've been giving Albert cooled boiled water in between feeds today cos I don't want him getting dehydrated with the loose stools. He had 3oz of milk at 4pm and has just taken 1oz of water. It seems to settle his tummy too. I don't want to fill him up on water, but is an ounce enough or do I leave it to him to decide? It does seem to have stopped him grazing on the milk today and have proper feeds

im giving water cos of her constipation and MW said to never give more than 60ml so 2oz a day, she said it doesnt matter too much if its spread over all her bottles or at one go, but if its at one go to try give it between feeds.

I usually give 10ml right before each feed, kayla is way too greedy n if i give her water in the middles of 2 feeds she will still cry for more LOL

I wish i could even get an oz down my LO, i always give before feeds, she takes it has a few gulps then looks at me like 'i know what this is mummy im not stupid' and spits it out! But will keep trying!!

Evie is now going to be on formula due to shrivelled up boobies (!!) so should I be offering her water as well??

Jake is FF and I never gave him any water unless he was constipated but he never has been so far thankfully and there hasn't really been any days that have been hot here but I do give him a little in his cup now that he is having food xx

No i was told to only give her the water while shes constipated not to just give it when they fine, guessing its fine for dehydration if they vomit or diaharia

I give water when constipated. Sometimes he drinks it easily and other times he screws up his face in total disgust (which is quite funny I have to admit).x
