Hey Cazza, your Roo looks absolutely adorable!! Can't believe you managed to snap a pic of him with the cake before it got gobbled up... :D

And while I'm lucky enough to have avoided the 'so no kids yet then?' questions from people, I dread the day that they start asking... it's sooooo rude! I guess there are many people who've had children without any hassle and don't understand that other people might not find it so straightforward.

I did once get told by a shopkeeper in Camden (when I was 23 or 24) that I needed to get a move on and get married otherwise I'd be left on the shelf. Oddly enough I didn't buy anything from his store!

I work with a (not lovely) women who is very preachy in general. She says "how many more boys that you wish were girls are you going to have?".
To clarify, I love my boys with my soul, I don't wish they were girls, I just want a girl too. And if I did have another boy, yeah I'd be disappointed initially, but would die for him too!
Daft cow she is, trying to get a rise out of me xx

Awfull. Some people are so fecking insensitive!! One of my clients had a baby boy who sadly died at 4 months. She's gone on to have 4 girls and all she gets is 'are you trying for a boy'. Just shut the f&ck up!!!

there's a (lovely) woman who works for me and she tries to convince me every single day to have a child, I always say 'when we're ready' but it's really hurting now

The thing is I know she just wants to share the joy she gets from her children and thinks kids would make me happy, but I can't say anything as she means the best

That's even worse, because she has no idea how much her words are hurting you, and you can't just blow up one day and tell her to shut the hell up!! I think if she knew she'd be mortified x

OMG Cazza! What line is he?

Here is my boy (the collie) and my girl (pyrenean- her ears arn't normally like that):

I'm with all of you. It's worse for me now cos my sister just had wee baby baby in March and now everyone thinks that should "put me in the notion". Sometimes I do tell the truth but a lot of the time it's just not appropriate and have to say "maybe someday", "if it happens, it happens". That's just not always believable though cos some of these people know what age I am and that I would need to make moves on the baby front SOON. :-(

:dust::dust::dust::dust: for all of us. xxx

So true, I'd hate to tell her too as she'd be really upset.

I try to remind myself every time that it just shows how happy everyone will be when we finally do it and make it something positive

Either that or I change the subject pretty quick

I had to go to a friends kids bday party yesterday and it was agonising for me. OH and I were the only ones without a child there and it felt awful. So many people implied that we were abnormal for not having a family. I guess they don't know how desperate we are for one.

Oh and also the number of people who said, ahh you're so lucky not having one of these to look after.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

[/QUOTE]

He's mainly the old old Detania Dual reg ISDS/KC lines.

Love your boy (and your Pyrenean - but I've already told you that!!!) I adore Tri colours! Roo is alledgedly a Lilac Tri but his tri bits get lost when the Lilac gets sun bleached!!! His mum (my Lucca) is a blue Tri.
