I only think that a front opening nighty is for modesty. I got a couple from Matalan but they're more hassle than just lifting up your top.

I have decided not to bother with one now. I went on the hospital tour yesterday and everyone has a private room, even for induction and recovery. We are not having any visitors to the hospital (we are being really strict because we want to bond with our baby before OH's family grab it off of us ) So modesty will not be too much of an issue, comfy PJs it is!

I never bothered. I just wore pyjama bottoms and a strappy top which i just pulled down
