I need some advice if anyone can help, me and my husband split up 5 years ago in October so we went for 2 year separation as the reason, he was fine with it then he got it into his head it was because I wanted to move away with our son, not the case at all I just had enough money to final apply for the divorce, I sent the divorce off in June he has received the papers and has admitted this on text to me which I still have, he is refusing to send them back he has had the papers for a month now, what should I do next? I don't really want to have to pay for a process server when he has already admitted he has got them is there any way around this?
Any advice very welcome! Many thanks xx

Sorry don't know if there's an easy way round this, my solicitors told me that if my husband didn't acknowledge the papers then they'd get someone to serve him and the rest of the process wouldn't need to involve him. Although that's for unreasonable behaviour not 2 years separation, I don't know if there's a difference.

Good luck - I hope you find a way (or he bucks up and replies... your best bet may lie in convincing him to reply?)

xx

thank you for ur reply, think I'm just going to have to look into getting them served properly so there no backing out, just no talking to him atm xxx
