I saw my MW yesterday and mentioned that I finally found my notes after I'd lost them for a few weeks
In the conversation she mentioned that I need to carry them with me at all times, in case I collapse in Tescos or something they have a record of my pregnancy so far.

I never did this the last 2 times I was pregnant
What do you all do?

No I never took mine with me at all. Half the time I never even knew where they were.

Yeah i always had mine with me... they were a right mess by the end as i'd folded them up to put them in my bag

yeah i take mine every where, as last time MW told me off as i didnt, they dont keep on your pregnancy details on their computer systems only the blood results which is stupid.

my notes are blue not green

i just used to take mine when we went away from home for the day or when we stayed away for a few nights, i would deffo of lost them if i took them everywere!!!!

Same here. Or if I felt a bit iffy that morning. I was taken to Heartlands in an ambulance from work at 23 weeks (kidney infection) and I didn't have my notes with me, and because it was a hospital in a different county, it was a real mission for them to find out anything about me. The other hospitals in Birmingham wouldn't accept me without my notes as they wouldn't know anything about me and wouldn't feel comfortable treating me.

I took my notes with me to the forum Birmingham meet-up last year cos I was 39 weeks and I half thought there was a chance Eve would have to take me to a random hospital if my waters broke in the middle of Cannon Hill Park :rotfl:

But yeah, if you are travelling/working cross county I'd suggest taking them with you cos other hospitals might not accept you without them and you never know what could happen.

Mine was the same they had to be taped back together

Mine was yellow though :)

I never take mine out...

Perhaps should now though?

Only if I go out for the whole day or more (rarely) but will be more so after 32 weeks. rather be safe!

nope i never took my mine anywhere. only to the hospital appointments!

i wish i had copied my notes now, cause my first lot with my son got in a fire at the old hospital that is now knocked down. they kept them in storage there and some kids set the place on fire and they got ruined :(

I never take mine with me and never did with my son. I went to gibraltar this pregnancy and never took them

My notes are white

I only ever had mine when I was going to a pregnancy related appointment. xxx

I only took my notes to mw appointments and to my scans.

I only take mine if I am going away for a few days.
They are too big to fit in my handbag! However, someone else told me recently that they got told off for not having them too. Maybe I should now that I am 32 weeks.

I used to keep mine in the car

I take mine everywhere. They are looking a bit scruffy now though after being folded up in my bag for months.

I didn't have the green notes, I had an A4 plastic bound folder thing with my notes in! You couldn't fold it or anything so I would have had a hard time carrying them every where. I ony ever took them out of the house if I was going to the midwife

I've still got my notes  , I had Austin at home and noone ever asked for them. I don't know if I should have them or not but I like reading through them occasionally so unless they actually ask I'm keeping them!
