Did my waters break?

so about 2 hours after my sweep this morning, i was on the phone to my dad and he was really making me laugh. i was wearing a maternity pad because of some blood from the sweep.

when my dad made me laugh i felt two quick gushes from down below, at the time i assumed it was blood coming out which was caused by the laughing.

when i checked there was no extra blood but i wasn't soaking..does anyone know if it could be my waters? would i be soaked through if it was? xx

It depends babe have you changed your pad??? And if you have is that wet?? When they broke my waters not alot came out when Thomas was delivered it gushed out after him (sorry tmi) how do you feel??? Xx

well i went for an hour's walk this evening and on the way back we stopped off for a curry. while i was walking i was convinced i was going into labour, soooo much pressure down below and a few pains, but as soon as i sit down it stops

my back is killing me but im not sure if that is because of all the walking? xx

Back ache can be a sign and walking really help as well little man could be moving down to get ready but other than that not much else I can tell you xx

Just called the labor ward to see what they thought and got a miserable midwife who just kept repeating 'is baby moving like normal' when I said yes she just said well nothing to worry about then

Ok...but do u think my waters broke...didn't end up getting an answer from her

When mine broke for Ben, mine didn't gush out, just a enough to wake me up and then a comstant trickle all night and all morning, but that wasn't all of it apparently, but I don't know when the rest came out, I guess when Ben was delivered.

Good luck, definitely sounds like you won't be much longer

I dunno...if it was your waters would you not have lost more? Or maybe it was hind waters? If your getting the pressure ect, & you are close to DD anyway, it sounds like you'll go soon. I'd hold out & see if anything else happens! Lots of good luck for when the time comes

I felt the same after a wall during the last few weeks and I had painful BH after then nothing. I felt a pop when my waters broke and mine came out in two big gushes one when I stood up and when I sat on the toilet lol I'm guessing if it was your waters there'd be more and it wouldn't stop. Keep a pad on and lie down for an hour and see what happens when u get up. I had loads of liquidy gushes towards the end which had me convinced it was my waters but when it actually happened it was totally different. X
