Question about plug & waters?

Ok so a couple of weeks ago I lost a little bit of plug or what I think was plug but it was only a tiny bit. But there was no big blob or blood in it or anything. (Sorry TMI).

But my question is does everyone have a big mucus plug and should I not expect my waters to break until this happens?
Obviously just lately when I go bed I keep thinking my waters could break, this could be the night etc. But should I be expecting my waters to break when I haven't lost all of my plug?
Sorry if this sounds a bit dumb, it's only just occured to me lol. And I'm a bit confused x

I read in my bounty book and online that some women dont oose it till they are in labour, labour and dont even know they have lost it because lots of other things are happening too xxx

I heard that too and also heard some people lose it 2 weeks beforehand.

I was 15 days overdue with my son and never lost anything :-/
