Another loo-see-un here in afraid x

I'd pronounce it lu-shan, I love that name x

I know a little boy with that name, and his mum pronounces it loo shun. I like it!

Looshun here too. Wasn't it the name of a character in gladiator? Or was is lucius? I'd pronounce that looshus so that's why I say Looshun.

I pronounce it diff to what everyones said haha Loo See An. xxx

Even if you chose that name and introduced baby as Loo-shun people would soon pick up on it.
So not as big an issue as you maybe think?x

Yeah I wouldn't let it put you off entirely, there are loads of names with varied pronunciations, just tell people how it's meant to be pronounced :)

I agree with woody if you love it i wouldnt worry. I saw loo she un at first but now i see how you want it pronouncdd i was thinking that made more sense to pronounve it that way and now cant see it pronounced the other way if it helps!

I would also pronounce it the way you don't like but mrswoody is right!!

My impression is Loo -see-ahn is the English version and Loo-shun more Americanised...

My little boy is called Mikey and even when people see the way it's spelt they still call him Mickey !! Lol it's a lovely name by the way :) x

I absolutely love this name but my hubby wasn't convinced :( to me its lushun and I heard it first when I watched gladiator its the little boy :) . I wouldnt worry too much, people pronounce even the simpleset of names wrong if you love the name go for it x
