Just wondering how all the December babies are getting on?

Eva sat for the first time last week, and can now sit for 5 - 10 mins. She is desperate to crawl, but not quite there yet. She is always babbling on, sounds like she is saying her vowels in french all the time! Lol. She has just started drinking watered down abble juice from a beaker on her own and loves her tw food. Up until the past week or so, she was sleeping 12 hours straight, but thanks to teething and bright early mornings, she's a bit unsettled at night atm, but still sleeping 8 - 5ish, then 5.30 - 9.

How are all your gorgeous bubbas?

xx

George is just starting to sit by himself, not very interested in food yet-he's a boob man ;) he's sleeping pretty well usually does 11-12 hrs between last feed and waking up, wants to bf every 2hrs through the day though!

Bethanyann, was my due date the same as yours (7th)? And now our babies are nearly 2 weeks apart lol! Lizzie is doing well, not sitting at all yet but always wants to be standing! She's got a constant smile on and giggles a lot, and does a lot of talking to herself which is sooo cute! I keep getting told she's a very happy contented baby so I feel very lucky.

She's not sleeping particularly well at the moment - 8-1am, then till 4am, then till 6:30am. But tbh I don't mind at all cos I pretty much sleep sitting up while she feeds on boob and she goes back to sleep again straight away. Plus her sleep changes all the time still - last week she was sleeping through, so I know nothing's permanent lol!
She sleeps well during the day which is more important to me as it's when I get things done :)

hi.... zak is an xmas eve baby, hes sleeping well at night, about 10 hours then a feed then another hour or so. loves sitting up bt cant quite manage without a little hand from me, talks away to himself lots, loves laughing and copying his mummy with blowing raspberries. weighs almost 16lb now bt is growing out of 3 - 6 months clothes becsuse he is uber long ! not tried to start weaning yet bt hes having four 8oz bottles a day. naps for about half an hour to an hour about twice a day ! lovely to get an update on all the other babies x

oh and hes teething like crazy ! just got a white mark thru on his bottom gums so dont think it will be long ! x

Eva was born on the 22nd. She sleeps pretty much through the night from 7.30 to 7.30 with a dream feed at 11pm. She is napping at the mo! She has 2 half hr naps through the day but other that that is wide awake all day.
She loves her food - never refuses anything lol!
She only just started to be more interested in her toys and grabbing them now. Before it was the muslin sheet only.
She loves sitting up but can't do it by herself at all (we have got her a walker type thingy to pop her in sitting up while I get on with things and she plays with the toys in it)
she rolled over from her back to her front for the first time on Monday (nothing since :-() but her favourite thing to do is to shuffle herself around in a full circle, especially in her cot - for some reason she finds that highly amusing :)
I worry that she isn't really interested in rolling over at all but hopefully in the next few weeks she will be rolling all over the place and sitting up! :)

amelia was born on 21st she can sit for 20 secs unaided and rolled front to back a couple of times she has started giggling and lots of smiles. she loves food having just mashed food now rather than pureed and is very nosey she is sleeping from 7.30/8.00- 5.00/6.30 depends on her mood but we dont get up till 6 x

Good thread!

Isla was born on the 22nd. She's still a tiny thing - weight gain has been very slow. We've just started weaning on the advice of paediatrician and she is loving it. It seems to have increased her appetite and her milk intake has gone up alot so I think we'll have a good increase at the next weigh in!

She's always asleep by 8pm, has a dream feed at 11pm and then wakes at 5/6am for a feed. Then she comes in the bed with me and we sleep in till 9am! She'll have a couple of naps during the day - normally for about 30 minutes each.

Not sitting at all but loves rolling and being on her tummy. Always rolls from front to back and is also now bringing up her knees to try and get crawling.

Just started grabbing toys etc in the last couple of weeks and lots of smiling, giggling and 'talking'!

Alanna's got two teeth! But still cant roll over cept for accidental lol, or sit up, or nothin like that, but shes doin really well TW so :)

My little boy was born on the 3rd and he is doing great. Not sitting on his own yet, to be honest he just wants to stand the whole time. He can roll over both ways and is desperate to start crawling. There is no signs of him sleeping through the night and has 1-2 feeds every night but as the only last 10min each and I'm not really awake I don't mind too much. Still BF only and haven't started weaning yet.

Jovan was born on the 20th and is growing incredibly fast! He started rolling over at about 16 weeks back to front at first. But soon started rolling both ways. The other day I found him in his cot rolled over on his front completely and his head was right against the cot bars, I was so worried but he couldn't have been happier! He is not sitting but I have bought him a bumbo to help his posture as he tends to just fall forward. He loves standing and it's his favourite position to be held in.

I started weening him recently as he wasn't gaining much weight but he has started gaining since he's been on baby porridge which he loves. I'm going to start experimenting with different flavours soon and see how he gets on.

He loves being outdoors and I have recently started taking swimming which he seems to be enjoying.

Forgot to add he's a right little bugger when it comes to sleeping. He's never slept through. At about 3 months he was like clockwork only getting up once in the night at 3am but it all went to pot after a couple of weeks. He still gets up now once or twice in the night for a feed.

Lovely to hear how all your babies are doing.
Ellie was born on the 15th, she is a tiny little thing, not sure how much she weights as we haven't been for a few weeks, but was following her line nicely, last time. I am only 5'2", so think she will be little like her Mummy. We haven't long moved into 3-6 month clothes.

We get lots of chatting and giggles. Very happy little thing, who will play happily. She loves sitting up, but with my help. The last week has started like tummy time as she has learnt to roll back on her back ;) . The new thing the last 24 hours is learning how to below raspberries, but not shown Daddy yet.

At the moment, she goes to bed at 7pm, we dream feed her about 10 - 10.30pm and then sleeps somewhere between 6-8 am, so not complaining, just hopes it lasts.
