Skyeway that's an amazing improvement. Has it been continuing for you? I've still been vomiting most days but nowhere near as excessive as it was in the early days. My appetite is still rubbish so I've not put much weight on but baby seems to be doing well so I'm glad about that!

Sooo sore! I loved the kicks with Elin, but finding some of the kicks this time really hard to handle. He feels so much bigger and the movements are so uncomfortable. I’ve pulled a muscle or something just above me hit and baby moved there before and I actually screamed! I’m just trying to tell myself that I’d be in a massive panic if I wasn’t being kicked, so I need to enjoy it!!

Yeah most of us went to a Facebook group as it was easier for some to keep up. How are you and Lola doing?

I’m 36+1 now I really thought time would slow down when I finished work but it’s been just as quick. I’ve got a sweep booked for 12 days time, I’m hoping I’m favourable. The consultant said she’ll book me in for another sweep a few days after and if nothing I’ll be induced around 39 weeks. Really hoping baby comes with the sweeps and I can avoid induction!

How are all the other December mummies doing?? I can’t believe tomorrow we’ll all be due that month xx

Thanks ladies... would you believe still no baby. I got put off yesterday as no beds and then called about hour ago to see where I was roughly in list to be told I wasn’t in diary. Still awaiting call back. Needless to say I’m beyond annoyed and anxious.

They got me to go in to monitor baby last night and also had a sweep and cervix favourable. Did some nipple stimulation in early hours and I lost I think most of my plug but nothing has happened.

Oh they just called and apparently I’ll get bumped every day if there’s higher priorities. Obviously appreciate women with high BP need to be seen but why bother with a date. I’ve not been able to walk today with SPD and going out of my mind

Has there been any progress candy? You must be going out your mind. This is one of my biggest worries about induction, that they keep saying there’s no beds and pushing me to the next day. Especially when I should be getting induced about the 20th. I’ll end up refusing it if it gets that close to Xmas!

What. A. Night.

Went to hospital with reduced movements at 10pm. Long story short, didnt leave until 6am with no sleep and no baby! Given some assurance we’d get called by lunch but got to 1.15 and nothing so DH called and we are to go In for 5! And I’m not bloody leaving without this baby in my arms! Was a crap time which involved me falling over as my pelvis gave in, still I wasn’t a priority. Also got annoyed as some stupid 17yr old got seen by doc before me and was asking questions like ‘the baby moved a lot is that ok?’ And then the doc got called to theatre. So I didn’t get seen by her til 5am. Such a shambles, really is indicative of the shoddy state of the NHS at the moment, glad this is my last baby!!

So fx will have some good news by tomorrow xxx

Hope your induction gets started soon Candy. I’m having an elective section in 9 days due to my emergency section with my daughter. I know that ladies with diabetes get priority on the day due to blood sugar, then any other ladies (high bp, pre-e etc) will be next then obviously ladies who are emergencies go ahead first. At the moment, thankfully I seem to be healthy, so I’ll be at the bottom of the list and there’s always a chance that my date section could be pushed to the next day if they’re busy.
I watched Steps in Manchester yesterday at 37+6 and luckily baby has stayed put. I’m not from Manchester, it’s actually half way between where my family live and where I live, so would have been a bit of a panic if baby had decided to appear!
