Don't worry Becky, I have not even bought a hospital bag, nappy bag or anything to go into them!!! Eeeeek :s I have a list though. xx

I'm just looking at my suitcase now... Tomorrows job I think

I keep packing and repacking mine. I still need nursing bras but I think bar that I'm done. Anything I'm missing I will ask someone to bring it to me xx

Hi ladies,
Just popping by to say good luck to you all due around Christmas! Last year I was in your position and my beautiful, punctual little girl was born on 20th December. It was such a lovely time to give birth because everyone is excited at that time of year and the ward was all festive :) but I remember at this time I was counting down the days until mat leave! This time I'm due in March and I'm sure it will be just as exciting but I'll be thinking of you all in December! X

Aww that's lovely. I'm a Christmas time baby too..so lo could be a birthday present for me! Fingers crossed for punctuality it would be lovely to have baby here for Christmas xx

I keep doing this too. Concerned that I currently have 2 bags which I am sure will increase to 3 when consider drinks, snacks & entertainment. My mum bless her has ironed everything but I've probably ruined that by taking stuff in & out so often.

She is a love, she has washed all the stuff so far & like I say ironed it. She will be washing more as we get closer to our birth date too! I worry I have a lot of stuff but you have to be prepared!

Wow Becky not long!!!! Are you nervous? How many weeks will you be? xx

Hope everyone is getting on well with their pregnancies!!

I'm so ready for this baby, been on labour ward twice with early contractions - once at 33 weeks and again a few days ago. Had steroid injections to mature his lungs at 33 weeks too. Having a section at 39 weeks due to some complications with panic attacks, everything at home is ready for his arrival just counting down the days/weeks now.

On antibitoics for a infection I've got & iron for my anemia plus support belt for my sciatica & SPD but so excited to be a mummy xx

I'll be 36 + 4... I'm petrified! Still lots to do as well.

With him being early there just seems even more uncertainty.

Hi Wishing, wondered how you were getting on. Sorry to hear it's been a rough ride. Having just had the steroid injections can I say OUCH! Have you got a date for your section yet?

It will all be worth it, and you haven't got long left now.

Hi All
Hope you are keeping well..
Really excited to see some babies coming, it seems quiet on here tho :(

I am counting my working days down now, I can't wait for maternity leave and a short spell of calm before the storm!

Sorry to hear it's been rough wishing ... Not long to go now.

I have started thinking about the birth, hadn't really thought of it before ha! Xx

It is quiet in here isn't it.

How you feeling about the birth glow? Have you done your birth plan or have you just started thinking... xx

Hi becky I haven't done a birth plan and probably won't but just stuff around breathing and general principles of what I would like.

Also doing some basic hypnobirthing tracks on my phone if nothing else it helps me sleep!

Speaking of which have woken up just now with major twitching / cramp in my right buttock. Agony!!!!

Xxx

Hi all! I had an extremely upset stomach yesterday followed by cramping , pain and pressure which was happening at regular intervals of 17 minutes for about 6 hours. It wasn't agony but I did worry it was labour! Managed to get 4 1/2 hours sleep and still feel a tad cramps now but I'm hoping it's just Brixton hicks! It's my wedding anniversary this weekend so hoping we don't have a surprise arrival! Xx

Eeeeek Jill! They do say you sometimes get an upset tummy before labour. Did you call the midwife at all? Hope it has eased off today.

This is really TMI, but does anyone get a lot of watery discharge or just feel a bit wet down there in general? I keep worrying my waters are leaking.

xx

I've not yet but had an upset belly again and can see my belly tense and contract which is so weird!! I'm not in any pain and managed to sleep for a few more hours so think I will keep an eye on it. I hope it's not though the house is a mess and I don't feel prepared baby room wise!!

I have been generally wet down there, so much so I developed a sort of nappy rash and got cream for it. Really annoying but apparently it can be added to the long list of typical pregnancy symptoms. X
