Daytime sleep - is 2.5 hours too much?

Austin has about 45 mins in the morning then 2hrs 15 at lunchtime and cat naps in the afternoon. To be honest I do wake him after 2hrs 15 at lunchtime now as he wasn't sleeping well at night and limiting his day time sleep to 3hrs 30mins tops has really helped him get through the night. I don't think your Connie is odd at all, it sounds as though she has a very good relationship with

No that's not too much at all.

Lydia has a 2 hour nap most days, and Alex has the same, plus he might drop off in the car some days for 20 mins or so.

Make the most of it!!!!!!!! Kai hasn't napped for ages and for example if he got up early in the morning he would go 3-4 hours in 1 go, but even if he wakes up early he won't go anymore :(

i've found that aiden sleeps much better at night when he's slept well through the day. he has around 4 hours spread out at different times of the day, and then sleeps from 7pm till 7am. (waken him at 10:30pm for his last bottle and he's straight back to sleep.)

we will also need to ditch the dummy at some point though, he tries to fight going to sleep through the day sometimes and so relys on his dummy to settle him. when he fights going to sleep we do different things to calm him and make him sleepy - quiet room, stroke his face, hold his hand.
