It's the OH's first day back at work today and I really broke down lol . Don't get me wrong there's been times in the last 3 weeks that he's been on the verge of getting a poke in the eye but when the crunch came this morning I really didn't want him to go :(

The weird thing is though......it's so much more organised without him!!!!!! xxxxxxxxx

Welcome to the world of being a mum! OHs get under our feet! Lol!

Ever hear that expression too many cooks spoil the broth?

Yep!!! Totally agree. Whilst I've been trying to get Albert used to being left on his own in the lounge for 10 minutes whilst I'm sterilising/getting bottles ready/putting the washing machine on/going to the loo every time he's murmured the OH has picked him up, which has done me no favours at all even though I can understand why he was doing it. As soon as I hear him I pop my head round the door but if he's just moaning but safe then I leave him to moan.

My DH is off this week and I'm dreading it! It's only 9:15 Monday morning and he is already in my way! Lol! Roll in Sunday!

I think my OH wanted me to cry this morning. If my OH was with you he would of go e off with a smile knowing I needed him that much. Not that I dont want him here but I've already had breakfast, showered and sorted out the washing I've got to do. And last 3 weeks we wernt out of bed by this point.

You will be fine by the end of the day and happy that you have the alone time with LO. X

I too had a moment of panic when OH went back to work after paternity leave. Didn't take me long to realize things were a lot easier without him!! You can structure the day how you like, watch what you like on tv, no one to stress you out! You'll get into the swing soon x

You'll be fine BB :) my OH left me when Sophie was 4 days old and it's been just the two of us ever since.

My OH is off work this week too and so far we have a very grumpy baby cos he's preventing her from napping  it's going to be a long week!

Think I must be in the minority... I love it when my OH is home! As much as I love spending time alone with LO, I do get lonely and miss the adult conversation when it is for a whole day. I try to do something that involves going out every day to break things up a bit, but still I get lonely without the adult company! :-(

my OH never had any time off!! so ive never had to deal with him leaving, most of the time i love it when hes here though - just incase Max starts crying coz he can do this sleeping hold on him that sends him straight to sleep but my arms arent big enough to do it haha

you'll be fine BB were all here :D xxx

My partner left when I was pregnant so never had one from the start lol managed to get jntk routine sooo quickly!!! It's hard but we're women and we adapt easily :) hops your first day goes well Hun cxxx

No im with you on this one I love my hubby being home and he never gets in the way he knows I have my things to do first etc but them the day is ours after xx

i built my oh into the routine really, he cooks tea for me usually while i feed lo, he plays with her and changes her while i have some free time and he rocks her to sleep. he loves having time with her so much that he wants to rush home from work to be with her and gets annoyed if he has to visit his family or something unexpectedly takes him away for longer than he wants. he baths her every sunday night and he does the night feeds a lot after i bf her he tops her off and puts her down happily, it just takes longer for him cos he talks to her and wakes her up a bit too much lol. but he manages to get her to sleep and im usually asleep by then so he never has her screaming the place down.

Hahahaha OH came home from work to find me asleep on the sofa and Albert snoring in his bouncer. The place was spotless and everything. Think he was a little disappointed that we coped so well without him :D

I was rather chuffed :D Although whether it will still be the same by friday remains to be seen lol
