What's the best way to get rid of it?
I've tried olive oil, then combing through his hair, that didn't do anything and I know you can get special shampoo for it but I've been told not to shampoo his hair while he's got his eczema!
Lacey didn't get it until she was a year old and I used to sit there and pick it out! Can't do that with a 6 week old baby! Lol

I have only heard olive oil, but don't you have to leave it on over night? Could try that if you haven't already? I haven't had to do it .. yet :) xx

I used baby oil . I used to put it in after a bath and sort of back comb Aoibheanns hair the cradle cap would fly out . I hated it , I didn't know any better and tried to pick it out at first I ended up leaving little cuts on her head :(

My HV and chemist said to leave it over night and then the loose stuff will fly out ! only problem was Aoibheann smelt funny :(

I just use olive oil. I put it on and leave it, make sure I rub it in through his (admittedly nearly non existent) hair so it's covered it, seems to be working x x

I didn't leave it on! Will leave it longer. Thanks girls x x

I have done herbies with baby oil but it hasnt all gone with his skin I think its a mix of cradle cap and eczema and thats why its taking longer to go

I've been told not to use baby oil cos it flares his eczema up. Poor babies, what they have to go through!!

Awwh poor wee pet . Sorry I didn't realise it would affect his eczema :hugs:
