I've been doing a test in the mornings with some of those cheaper tests from http://www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk/, however, I've never waited the full 5 minutes to see if there is any change after I have seen the big fat negative line come up. I always thought that if it was going to be positive that it would come up - even if it was faint, at the same time, so I have binned them straight away.
Am I incorrect?
The reason I ask is that I just decided to do another this afternoon for the sake of it. I did my peeing into a cup and dipped the strip in, to see just what I expected... a big fat solid purple "negative" line.
However, when I got out of the shower, there was a very faint line below that one. I was in the shower no longer than 10 mins.
Did I wait too long to see if it is a faint positive or have I not waited long enough for the previous ones to display fully?
I'm off to buy a better brand for the weekend - Clearblue or First Response I guess.
Are these cheap tests any good or have I been wasting my money?
HELP!
