Hey ladies

I am due baby number 2 in August and my daughter will be around 20
Months. How bad is it? I’m worried as I found it so hard with just her and she’s into everything at the moment. We have a routine and understand there will be no routine again shortly. Any tips? I know I must be insane!! But it was planned!! We wanted them close together in age. Xx

We had the exact same age gap (or there abouts), it really isn't a bad as you think it'll be! It's certainly a struggle but will very quickly become the norm. I highly recommend investing in a sling, as it helped so much with getting out and about and carrying on normal life for the toddler too. Xx

Yeah I have a sling so can stick baby in there. My toddler at the moment loves walking but I guess that will change but yes if I have baby in the sling and toddler in the buggy then there is no excuse not to get out. I do worry about getting out and about with two! I also worry about sleep how did you cope? As you could be up a lot in the night but not able to sleep in the day because the toddler is awake? Xx

I am sure you will do great. Beginnings may be tough but that is to be expected, not only for 2 under 2 but for any age gap, really. From what I have seen with my friend was that the kids entertained each other a lot!

I would probably consider buying a double buggy for walks etc x

I'll have 2 under 1 soon, dd starting to get into everything aswell lol.

I'm not worried anymore... I mean we have to cope! Theres not much else we can do. Just do the best we can! When second baby reaches 5/6 months everything will get much easier!
