I am not sure what contraception i can use after having a possible blood clot, i know i cant have the pill or injection now. I know some of you out there have been on blood thining injections when pregnant, what kind of contraception were you told you could use?

I had this problem too as I was on Clexane for stcky blood. Theres not much choice is there? - Because I was also breastfeeding, my options were further limited. I think my only option really was the Mirena Coil which is a Progesteone producing coil which you can have while BF.

I didn't have it in the end, but after this one thats what I'm going for as I'll be on Clexane until 6 weeks post natally and will be BF again.

im not sure, but ive found my doc doesn't know what is the best pill to put me on, and told me to go direct to the family planning clinic (which i still need to do). I had OC which is hormone triggered, so i don't want the symptoms to be triggered by the pill.

sorry i don't have more advise. have you been to see your gp / fp clinic
