Consenting/Seminar in the same appointment

Hello just after a little advice for our upcoming NHS IVF/ICSI treatment. We have our consenting appointment on 9th October but when the paperwork has come through it also has seminar. Does this mean we won't have the information session separate. We are in the west county and everythings on a smaller scale so I'm thinking that it's quite possible.
In our last appointment they said all treatment should be completed within 2.5 months. Does anyone know how soon after this appointment that treatment can start. My period is due two days after and I am hoping to start on this cycle as I don't want to wait another cycle. My life has just felt like a waiting game for the last year 😔

We had our consenting and seminar at the same appointment and they asked where we were in our cycle (we saw the consultant separately to the group) I started on cycle day 21 but had the scratch and also did the long protocol, I think you start earlier on the short protocol . We had an appointment about 2 weeks after the seminar with the consultant and then started treatment on CD 21
