Hi everyone, I had my contraceptive implant out on the 6th August and had a ‘period on the 10th August, we’ve been having unprotected sex since the implant come out and after the ‘period’ I rung the doctor today, as done a urine test and showed I had a urine infection, but the doctor says that I shouldn’t take the antibiotics until I do a pregnancy test next week? I wouldn’t know when my period is due, and the doctor said it wasn’t a period it was just a normal thing for your body to reject the implant once it’s come out so, so do I just wait until 4 weeks since I first had unprotected sex? Bit stuck on what to do?
