confusing

i just did a little calculation on internet about how much you get in maternity pay and i just wonder, do they calculate from what your contract says?
mine is 32.5 hours a week but have worked between 39-52 hours a week for the last year and a half and still do. but thats been my own choice. so i guess i only get 90% of 32.5 hours only weekdays pay?

I would have thought so but not sure - maybe check with your employer, they might offer a better maternity pay!!

I think u get 90% of ur avg wage for 1st 6 weeks then the lower rate after that x

I got told it's 90% of what you've earned in the 2 months before you start matnerity so I was gonna do lots of overtime but I'm not completly sure!
