Hi,

I had a miscarriage in late April. i got my first period exactly one month after the MC (the doctors told me to expect it within 4 to 6 weeks, so this was spot on). I'm usually a 26 day cycle. But now my second period hasn't arrived, I'm currently on day 33 which is unusual. I did a test 4 days ago but it was negative.

Hubby and I have been TTC since the MC.

Am just keen for any thoughts, or if anyone has experienced similar before? Don't want to get my hopes up, after all the test was negative.

Many thanks!

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's quite common for your cycles to be a bit off following an mc, even though the first one was on time. Though fx for you still, maybe try another test in case? x

Very sorry to hear about your mc. You could try a superdrug or first response test now, but a negative result might not mean anything as your cycle could be a bit haywire for a while.

Maybe test twice a week until you either get a BFP or AF?

Wishing you the best of luck. X

Thanks both: AF just arrived

I just hope my cycle gets back somewhat more to normal soon, otherwise it will be so hard to know when I'm ovulating.

I had mc at 14 weeks and needed a D&C so had coil fitted at the same time. Took about 5 months I think to return to my normal cycle.

Best of luck to you next month xxx
