I can't bear wearing underwired bras now as they hurt too much! I have been looking for suitable comfortable bras but haven't come across any yet. Have any of you girls seen or bought any that are good?

I always get my bras from marks and spencer. They will measure you for them as well.

yes i got mine from marks and spencer mind you they are not the sexiest but i got measured and they are really cheap as well..pack of two for twenty quid!! also ive seen some nice ones on the mother care website..and agent provocateur are doing really sexy ones but for about 60quid a pop which is way over my budget.

Oh I just get the sports bras, I find them so comfy!!!! I will get proper bras nearer the time, but for now there is plenty of comfort & support

This may sound like a really stupid question but do you have to take your bra off to be measured?

I wouldn't want to do that in a shop! :?

The sports bras sound like a great idea Tam. I hadn't thought of those. Going shopping for some today :D

Defo M & S I bought the maternity ones which were 2 for £20, one black, one white and they are so comfy.

No you don't have to take your bra off to be measured.

Violet-glow, can't remember exactly but I'm sure I didn't have a bra on when they measured me at M&S, she just looked and estimated. Personally not really bothered, we all got a pair at the end of the day (us women that is!). Must say I do hate wearing bras and that was already from when I was in my teens, they all feel like harnesses. However I don't think I'll be doing a Charlie Dimock whilest I'm pregnant may cause some serious damage if not to myself then to some innoscent passer by  !

Charlie Dimock

Sorry slightly changing the subject, but I cant stand her. The way she wears her hair down when digging and keeps brushing it back. Just tie your hair up woman and put on a bra. Its not sexy, its embarrassing on your part. Shame on you woman... shame on you! lol

ranting over :D

When I was pregnant I lived in an M&S non-wired t-shirt bra. It looked a lot more appealing than all their other non-wired granny bras! Hope this helps! :D

Violet-glow - touched a nerve did I! :) . I guess each to thier own, personally I do wear bras - having to comfort to society, but generally when at home it's like free willie - hmmm maybe not a good comparison, ehhh can't think of any good comparisons now, but generally their free to roam!
p.s all this bra talk is making get even omre annoyed with mi bra!!

lol I dont mind people not wearing bras, just for some reason I cant stand Charlie Dimwit.... I always rant about her when I hear her name sorry lol

Violet, no problem I find it highly amusing, rant away!!

at the moment i am finding an underwired bra comfortable but should i not be wearing one even in these early stages? isn't it meant to block milk ducts or something?

I still wear underwired bras, I have one maternity bra and the day that is in the wash I just wear a normal one.

Mothercare are great for maternity bras, thay measure you, check the fit and are so helpful. They are quite expensive tho, mine was £20.00

I bought a sports bra today even though it was a size bigger than my usual size!It looked the right size though. Is it just me or do bra sizes vary? I am so annoyed, I just tried it on and it is too tight! And you can't exchange them either, sigh :( Oh boy I give up.

i bought the two for a twenty too from marks and spencer ..AND I also like not wearing a bra at home it so comfy and now im really proud of them!!!!
