Clomid

I started this yesterday and am just wondering how side effects were for anyone who was on it. Am only on 50mg initially and we will see how it goes for first cycle. Then depending on progesterone levels they will up it. My day 21 progesterone before starting it was 55 which I thought was fairly good but perhaps I need to do more research!
Was 40 last month so keen to get a move on . My son is 6 and took a long tome to get pregnant with him and it seems same again now and am older so I guess that’s an extra challenge

55 would mean that you ovulated. I’m a little confused as to why you are on clomid?

Clomid made me hot at night. I also put on a bit of weight with it, but did then manage to get some of it off in later cycles.

I would guess you are on clomid to try to improve the strength of your ovulation and the maturity of the egg, as sugar says 55 is a good result without it.

Will try anything at this stage even if it just boosts the odds a little so that makes sense thanks !
