So my DH had his first semen analysis and the count was very low (6.5mil)

The doctor has prescribed clomid to take until the next test which will be in 3 months time. I have read that while it can increase sperm count it has not been proven to result in any more pregnancies :(

Does anyone have experience with this? Are there any risks involved in taking it? Should we try it anyway?

Hi Sookie

I dont have any answers for you I'm afraid - but if it is proven to improve sperm count, then the chances of you falling pregnant will obviously increase - so I would definately try it!!

Zinc is also known for improving count and motility so perhaps your OH could have a wee cocktail of medicines each day?! Its definately worth trying!

Zinc is great - not only is it good for sperm count and motility but we achieve "wood" for longer too, when OH takes it  . Saw Palmetto is also good.
