Thanks x

 hey hun, welcome to the forum. I can't give u much advice on the CBFM, as I have never used one. But from what I have seen on hear u get low, high and peak days. The peak days being the ones where u ovulate at some point. xx

Hi Kanga86.....if I am right your the lady who has just got engaged :) Congrats! :) :)

Thanks for the reply...yes I have been searching the internet for as much information as possible and am getting a lot of very positive feedback from ppl who have used the CBM, some women who have been trying for years and after using it (some after getting advise by a doctor) have got a BFP (BFP - learnt from reading other posts :) ) after a few months...fingers crossed!

Would be good if I could find a few ppl who are using it so that I can compare High and V High periods in my cycle to see if they are normal as I have never logged my cycle and am not 100% positive how many days as yet my cycle is....as you can tell I am defo a newbie! LOL x

I think there is a few ladies on here using the cbfm or have used it. I have heard only good things about it too. :)

I have been engaged for 2 and a half years but my oh and I set the date for the wedding yesterday!! So i have loads of planning to do in 5 months, eek!!! :) xx

WOW 5 months....Yes you have got a lot to do before then! Well I hope the sun will be shining for you and that all your dreams come true before then!

Yeah what i have read is that the CBM tells you not just when you are ovulating but also the high fertility days before then so you have got more chance of conceiving if you BD on those days also....well all I can do is wait and see!

Me and my partner are also taking the pregacare conception him & her tablets, have been for one and a half months now...you never know, if they help its defo worth it :) xx

Hi pinkbutterfly,

I am using it too, yey a CBFM buddy lol! I am new to it too, i am on cycle day 5 so the testing starts tomorrow. i am really excited about it actually and feel like it is taking the stress away from wondering when the right time is to get busy lol.
I really hope we get our positives soon, I hope it works first time for us both xx

Hey :)

So glad someone else is using it aswell

Im supprised not more ppl are using it....they must have reasons and other methods that work better for them but if it does work we will have to make sure everyone gets one!

So you start your first test tomorrow, it is really easy to use...what time have you set yours for? I have to do my tests between 5.30 (no way!) and 11.30. Im on day 11 on monitor, I went to two bars on day 8 and am still on two at the moment (so this is my 4th day on two bars). Im trying not to take to much notice of it this month even though it is really hard not to as I know the first month using it its just getting to know you so its not exact but so many ppl on the internet have said that they got preggers on the 1st or 2nd cycle...shouldnt get to excited as might not work that quick for me! :eh:

Is your cycle regular? Im not sure as mine used to be exactly 28 days each month on the dot but then I went on hoiday in July and after that I didnt have a period for about 42 days before my next one but since then they have been around 24-26 days x

I'm glad too  Will be nice to have someone to chat to about it.
I used the ovulation tests before with the smiley face but I want to know all the fertile days and I think the monitor really will take the stress away.

I have to do mine between 5am and 11am (I will do around 8 each day). I am looking forward to seeing the bars go up and knowing I am doing all I can possibly do this month.
My cycles are fairly regular, usually 28 days but there has been the odd 26 day and odd 29 day cycle. This is my first cycle after my miscarriage so I am not sure if that can cause it to be longer/shorter etc.
I have read such good things about the monitor, so many women seem to get preggers within 2-3 months and I know we shouldnt get our hopes up but I can't help it. It gets me through each month.
Is this your first month trying? xx

Hey CBFM Buddy!

Sorry to hear about your MC, there is a lot of things in this world that knocks you off your feet and I can only imagine that that is defo one of them but I see you have a little boy :) so you have ones had baby dust so lets hope it happens again soon :)

Looks like our cycles are near enough the same (i think as need to start logging mine) yes this is my first month of trying, me and my partner have been talking about it for some time and started taking the pregncare conception him & her tablets approx 1.5 months ago and started trying when the monitor showed me 2 bars (Friday) started getting the feeling of period pains today what i thought was really weird but found a website that tells you when you are most fertile (including days before like the monitor) and it does say on there that today I can experience some pain and moodiness as I am nearly ovulation.....so its spot on as started to feel the pain this morning :)

I will post the link on here....thats if I can work out how or if you can do it on this site. x

Bring on the baby dust!!!!

Just Mommies web site

Just tried to post link but saying because of SPAM i need to post 10 posts before I can start adding links.....the website is called just mommies, I have got about 5 different sites saved saved on my PC but I like this one as it shows/tells you what is happening to you on each day of your cycle, also it tells you the best days (including the days before like the CBFM) to try to conceive if you would like to try for a girl or boy.....I hope it helps anyone who takes a look:)

FINGERS CROSSED FOR YOU ALL! X:dust::dust:

Hello again CBFM buddy :)

It has been so hard but the specialist said that there is every chance my next pregnancy will be fine as I have already had a child, full term with no probs. So I have my fingers crossed that the next one will stick around for us :)

I am taking folic acid and evening primrose oil (up to ovulation) as it helps with the fertile cervical mucus and I believe it helped me last time so got to try it again this month. Its great that you have been preparing in advance, I have told OH (not asked, lol) that he has to take some vits too.

I am hoping the baby dust settles on both of us and gives us our CBFM babies :dust:

oooh, thanks, I will take a look at that site xx

Thats ok....hope it helps!

I will let you know when I get to 3 bars, it should be tomorrow/Wed but as I keep having to tell myself I shouldnt worry to much this month as the CBFM is still trying to read me.

According to that website I sent out the fertile window for you is around the 15th but if I was you I would take more notice of the monitor but I like to compare.

Sorry just relised im taking to you like you are also a newbie....Im sure you already know all of this and much much more! xx

I am a newbie to this really though, so don't worry, the ladies on here know so much and are great helps so any advice is appreciated :)
I will defo take notice of the CBFM, I predicted around that time too. I'm like you, i get some pains around ov time and even feel a little queasy sometimes. Its amazing what you can notice when you pay so much attention to what your bodys doing.
I hope you get three bars soon and that the monitor is a success, keep us updated xx

I've used mine for the last 4 years ! They are very good providing you have a fairly regular cycle and ovulate frequently unlike in my case. It's a bit tricky to get your head round at first but you soon get used to it. Good luck !

Hi mummy2b73 :)

I think im regular but need to log it over the next few months, I was very regular (28 days) but then I went on holiday in July and didnt have a period for about 42 days....i just put it down to the sun/drink/eating.

I think now i am approx 26 to 28 days. I didnt really know about any ov strips/kits or anything like that, i didnt even know about the CBFM until a friend told me about it and then she bought it for me for my birthday :)

I am a bit worried now as I know if I dont get 3 bars I will start worrying if something is wrong with me even though I shouldnt start thinking like that but I know what I am like. xx

Hi pink butterfly ! 42 days isn't bad mine were 100 days + !!!! I was about to start ivf treatment in July when I found out quite unexpectedly that I was finally pregnant after 14 years of trying and a previous traumatic ectopic. Stick with the monitor it is really good would recommend it but try not to worry if you don't get a peak every month I only had 2 in all the time I used it ! I am proof that it does happen so good luck !

WOW mummy2b73 14 years of trying....you soooooo deserved the baby dust CONGRATS!!! :stork:

OH ok i though that 42 was really bad, was a bit worried but since July its going back to normal so Im sure its all fine :)

So glad i am using the CBFM as it sounds like its going to help a lot FINGERS CROSSED! X

I am also using the Conceive + lubicant gel from boots what is quite expensive compared to other lubicants but been told that lubicants can be harmful to sperm so I got this one as its sperm friendly and it says it also helps them to swim :sperm::sperm: xx
