Christening gifts

We have been invited to a christening, and need ideas for a gift. Anybody who has had their LO christened, what sort of gifts did you most appreciate?

I've always given my friends a memory box with the name of the child and the christening date - we've got a card shop that personalises these!weve done the same for wedding gifts too!

DD got: silver and diamond cross necklace
'my first bible stories' book
Children's prayer book
Pink cross necklace
A friendship type bracelet with little crosses dangling from it
Money

DS got:
Noah's ark ship toy with animals
A silver cross pin
Clothes
Money

Oh and all of the presents were gratefully received. The church gave them both white KJV bibles too c

Not on the high street has some lovely christening gifts. I hsv bought them for people but not been bought them back!

Silver money box
Bible
Baptism book
Memory box
Glass photoframe with christening written all over it
Complete set of Peter Rabbit books (my fave gift)
This box with silver trains on and the lid lifts up and has plastic wallets attached to put photos in
A gift bag with loads of his favourite foods but in baby jars like banana porridge etc
A classic winnie the pooh ornament that winds up and plays music

I can't think of what else, think he just got money after that x

I got my god-daughter a Silver bangle and a hardback book of Beatrix Potter stories.
