Got a girls name but choosing a boys one is proving to be a nightmare.

Fingers crossed for a girl then! Are you finding out at 20 weeks?

Hoping to, only 6 days tomorrow to wait, I am SO excited!!!

Told hubby if it's a boy he can name it but Shhh I don't mean it! He likes Arthur and I don't, I think it's an old mans name. I like Gaylord (poor bairn, yes let's hope it's a girl!!!!)

In our family the tradition is that the first born girl gets both gran's names after her own and the first born boy gets both grandads.

SO my daughter is Naomi Margaret Mary. And I am Susan Elizabeth Mary...

But if I have a boy this time he won't be so lucky...first name will be Ciarán, but after that come Gilbert and Valentine! (poor kid)

For a girl, we've decided on Muireann Elaine Hazel.

Sue

We are nearly sure we are calling our baby girl Connie.
:cheer:

I think I've started a trend on here :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Obviously it's the best name EVER :cheer: will she be a Constance?

We have chosen Evelyn for a girl.
Have not decided on a boys name yet.

Ours are Amelia Louise for a girl or Joshua James for a boy

We've got Poppy for a girl but can't decide on a boys name at all.

Was talking to my OH about middle names and he said he didn't see the point - its just an extra name to fill in on official forms. I kind of see his point plus with a double-barrelled surname I guess thats plenty.

So question for you all - why will you be giving your child a middle name?

My hubby likes Arthur too he thinks it's cool but I'm not keen on it. Maybe they should have a baby together!

No she will be just CONNIE

we haven't really talked about it yet but i just love poppy may for a girl although i know DH hates it :(

i love dylan for a boy but we need the name conversation big time i think it will be easier if and wehn we can find out the gender.

I think our little man is going to be Noah George, Harvey George, or Evan George, still not completely decided!!!! :wall:

I'm surprsied so many people like Arthur, it makes me think of Arthur Lowe so I associate as being just an old codger sort of name - maybe these names are making a come back?
Mind you it was the same with Jack - it's only been cool to be called Jack for the past 15 yrs, before that it wasnother old mans name.

We might go with Alex now anyway. I quite like Caleb though - lord its gonna be hard to chose if it is a boy!

weve almost decided on calling our baby boy Harry Christopher! :D :D

Isaac Kevin for a boy (Daddy just wants get his name in there)

Maia Marie for a girl (Marie after OH's Mum)

Gatecrashing :p

We are going to be calling our little princess Megan Olivia.

Olivia is after my nana Olivie :)

If it was a boy we were going with Lewis Joseph, Joseph after my daddy.

xx
