Child benefit

Hi ladies just wondered how long it takes to receive child benefit. I've had the letter to say we are eligible and it gets paid every 4 weeks but we haven't received anything? Sam is 7 weeks x

Mine too, I got the money then received her birth cert back and got the award letter about a week later lol

I got mine really quickly - I think it depends whether LO was born near beginning or end of the month? Emily was born at the end of the month, so it was processed quite quickly I think.

mine shows as bank giro credit - then my ref number - CHB
