Chicco Next2Me mattress

I bought a Chicco Next2Me for my 2 week old baby but the mattress seems a bit on the hard side. Does anyone else have one of these and think the same?

I ordered a new mattress of a site called custom matress's online..they do a next to me one. that's cause I got my crib second hand though. They are supposed to be firm as possible

As above, i have one and I think they are supposed to be firm at newborn stage.. I however have always used one of these babymoov cosy dream supports since birth, his still in it now at 8 weeks and sleeps great!
