Shell - I had a local with pethedine and voltarol (which goes up the bum) also had an antibiotic up the bum as well!

Oh, I had a GA, so hopefully no one was messing with my bum! So does that mean you were awake?

yep i was awake and having done that i don't think i'd do it any other way. I knew exactly what was going on and coud see them draining the follicles on the ultrasound screen and could hear the calls of "egg" from the lab when they found them.

You're braver than me. I'd be so scared, i was going to request a GA if the new hospital didn't do it! I've been so nervous on the day, i quite liked the fact that i woke up and it was over and i couldn't remember anything! It must be nice to know how many eggs they have collected as its being done though.

Have they said when they will call tomorrow?

I have to call them tomorrow after 14.30.....god knows what I'm gonna do with myself till then as I'll be quite anxious I think.

Just found out.....we have 4 embryos at the moment!!! 2 go back in tomorrow and depending on the quality of the other 2 they will be frozen.

I can't belive this is the closest to being pregnant I've ever been.........
