Cheapie vs Digital OPKs

Hi ladies,

I have bought a load of cheapie OPKs but was just wondering whether to buy some digi's for when I get near a positive on the cheap one's?

Apart from the obvious difference in cost, what are the pros and cons?

I would as I think the cheapies are a little hard to read. Use cheapies till you get a strongish line then double check with a digi. Just me though!

i agree with laura, cheapies can be confusing and i have found different batches have different amounts of dye in them, the clear blue digital are good and they always have good offers on them in amazon. x x

I got my BFP the month that we used the digis. they are expensive but I think given how easy to use they were I would have carried on using em if I hadn't fallen!!

i use the cheapies til the line starts to get darker then confirm it with a digi....i also got a bfp in jan using them....sadly mc in march...just used them again last week...so fingers crossed xx

I do the same as others have said, cheapies til they start showing a second line and then move onto the digitals for the yes/no answer Im very sad but I do love seeing the smiley face!!!!

I totally agree with the girls cheapies until they show that second line then a digital to double confirm and yes it saves all the guess work.

I used the Tesco ones and was successful in conceiving. Sadly,suffered a missed miscarriage but I am planning on using them again.
