Hi

My friend is TTC (I told her to join here but she hasn't yet :D )

Well her AF is due in a few days and has decided to start temping. Her temp this morning was 97.70 F - She hasn't a clue if this is good, and I never charted- can anyone shed any light if this is good, bad or normal?

She was using OPK sticks last month and didn't get a positive so want to try temping.

Thanks

Mx

Its not really the temp itself that is important, its the temps as a whole over the cycle. 97.70 is completely normal though. For example, my temps start from around 97.20 before ovulation and then rise to around 98.30 after ovulation. Id advise her to join Fertility Friend as that explains everything really well. :D

I agree with Loola, FF is the best to explain.

I think to get the best overview of her cycle she needs to start temping on the day AF appears (day 1) then she will see how her temps change over her complete cycle.

She wont know if 97.70 is good (or a sign of being pregnant) really unless she has looked at her whole chart to see if her temps have remained high or there is a triphasic pattern etc

This probably isnt a help.......think I'm rambling now!!!

Hi
