Baby Joseph is 10 weeks old and a happy little baby. At the moment we give him a bath at 8.30/9pm, then a bottle, then off to sleep at about 10pm. He sleeps soundly til 4.30am then starts wriggling and grunting...you know how it goes. We stick the dummy back in and he sleeps on and off til about 6.30am. We're thinking about moving bathtime forward to 6.30pm then bottle and bed. Then another bottle at 11/12ish. Any advice? We are hoping he may sleep through as he seems to generally have a 6hr block of sleep every night.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

The advice I was given was to move bathtime etc back gradually say 15 minutes a day. That way in a week you can change it by almost 2 hours. Generally though they will settle into a routine themselves and you can't remember when it happened :rotfl:

Thanks, thats a good idea. With my first child I'm sure we had earlier bathtime...It's a long time ago though and I've forgotten how we did it. Will try your advice. :D

Yup, move the time back a bit every few days to give time to adjust. I'm not a fan of doing that every day as I don't think it 'sticks' per se. I think a few nights at the same time works better, but thats just me maybe.
