Cerazette - experiences anyone?

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone on here has experience of the mini pill Cerazette? I started taking it about 3 1/2 weeks ago and while many women tend to have their periods stop altogether, mine has been ongoing for ages! A few days after I started taking it, I got a heavy period which lasted for around 9 or 10 days. I had about 4 bleed free days, then I've started spotting and haven't stopped. It's enough to wear a tampon for. Has anyone else experienced this and have things eventually settled down? I want to get my sex life back on track (well, as much as I can after havimg twins!) and this is not helping. TIA x

Not on the cerazette but on the patch and when i started it i bled for 4 weeks straight like you described. Sorry i cant be much help x

I'm on it and had bleeding for about 10 days 4 weeks after having my little man but haven't bled at all since and been on it 3 months xxx

I was on it for 4 years prior to having lo and never had a period that whole time.
I haven't started taking it again yet though, so not sure how my body will react this time.
I would give it another month and if nothing's changed go to G.P and change to something else. These things can take a wee while to settle into your system properly.
