Does anyone know where I can get one really cheap (new) as I need one for my dads car and one for OH car but she hardly ever goes in them so don't want to speand loads, and it gets expensive when I need 2

personally i would never buy a *really* cheap carseat no matter how many times it would be used.....but they do do a good one in mothercare for about 79... :)

Thanks Keely, I have a similar one in my car for Rubie, but it's got pink stripes, I love it!!

Went in Boots today and on the off chance they had this

reduced from £116 to £58 and I had a £15 gitf card so it cost me £43!!

WOW what a bargain!!

Just need another now (they only had 1 left!!)

i love bagging bargains like that! well done :cheer:

As long as it has the kite mark it doesn't matter how cheap it is, they all have to pass the same tests, so I wouldn't worry about spending less.

My friend had a polysyrene (sp) baby car seat and it was brilliant...so light but it protected more of her baby than my regular 3 in 1 car seat.

Yes but obviously the cheaper they are the less standards they are built too, Of course they will make them to the kitemark standards, they have too...But the best way is to get one like that, which is cheap because its on sale. Its like buying bucket seats for a car when the price is lower you dont generally get less safety for money but something will have to compromise, wether its the materials used, comfort or how long it will last for.
