Can't handle the anticipation!!

My Af is due today, but it hasn't come yet. Normally it would hit me first thing in the morning when I get up. Its now lunchtime and no arrival just yet. I haven't really been experiencing loads of symptoms like some others on here. Anything I've experienced could be explained by something else. I know the only way to know is to test, and I told myself i would test tomorrow if AF doesn't come today. Today though I've been getting abdominal cramps - but they're not like my usual AF ones. Am I deluding myself in thinking that this could be it? I just want to fast forward 24 hrs to know!!!

I know that being in my 2WW is driving me nuts and to be honest I am not sure I can do this month in month out....

This forum has been amazing in some ways but it sure is making the 2WW feel like forever!

Im on that should be first day of af today to. It is so difficult to keep the hopes alive and cope with it all.
I actually found that doing a test earlier and getting a negative actually took the edge of the manic thinking about it every minute and so i would recomend buying some such as the pack of 2 from asda/morrisons for 3.50 or a single test from poundland.

I hope that your cramps are baby settling in rather than your period starting.

You could test today... After trying with my 1st child i was due on like clockwork and on the day by 9pm nothing had happened and i instinctively thought this is it. Took a test in the morning and it was positive. I had no outward symptoms so i am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you hun xx

Nikki, did you get any cramping on the day your AF was due ?
I've been getting cramping most of the day now, more off than on than I would be getting for my period. I definitely felt sharp twinges, and I felt at one point almost a tugging-ness. Sometimes I'm convinced I'm preggo and at other times I think its definitiely af on its way.

OMG!! You are so naughty!!! You nearly had me convinced!!

I think I OV'd late - on CD 18/CD19. That's makes me 9/10 DPO - that's why I'm soo willing to hang on to test. I think its too early to test. Do you not think at this stage I should wait for my morning pee??
At times it def feels like af on the way and others i'm thinking this could be it! I've been running to the loo all day thinking I've felt dampness - that af arrived but nothing yet.

It probably would be best to test in the morning if u pee lots during the day! If u haven't peed for about 4 hours then u could pee tonight! Look at me egging u on I'm only 7-9dpo so trying to hold out til Thursday when I should be 10-12dpo! Fx for u whenever u test Hun xx

Btw, before I got my BFP last time I got a tugging feeling and some cramps and have read loads of other comments like that from others so could be a good sign for you xx

My AF is officially LATE!! Still no appearance and hopefully won't appear for another 9 months!! I tested this morning but it was negative. It was a tesco own brand if that makes a difference. I am only 10/11 DPO, so I will hang on another day or two. I would normally start to get quite crampy before AF and then for the first 12 hours I am in agony. Usually bed ridden. Yesterday eve/last night there was more of the tugging/cramping. Not so much today, though i do have a sore head. I seriously feel if AF was coming she'd be here by now.

Silly question but How long did you wait for the line on the tesco brand?? I found that I thought it was negative when in fact the line took aaaaaagees to come up dont want to get your hopes up but a few other girls have found that those ones are slow developers x

AF still hasn't arrived and I've no more hpt left. I will try and pop into town and pick up some more. Is it too early to make an appt with the doctor and get a blood test, do you reckon? I had more 'tugging sensations' last night again.

It said to wait 4 mins and I waited almost 10mins. I dunked it as well too make sure it was well and truely soaked.
