hi all just a general wondering question ...

can bump start to feel neglected if you don't talk to it or think about it or do the normal things you would do? the last 2 days have been very traumatic where i have done nothing but cry and my bump has been the last thing on my mind which sounds so horrible as i love the little baby growing inside me. i have felt movement so i'm sure all is ok. just worried incase baby feels neglected by me for practically ignoring it for the last few days i'm worried i've harmed it in some way.

To be honest i dont think anyone will know how your baby feels...
Because nobody will ever know how a baby feels inside your stomach

Im sure itl be fine though.

If he/she can hear ect then the tv ect will probaly be enough anyway :)

I wonder this sometimes too, I usually talk to my bump , sing to him etc but somedays I just feel sad and pooh and cry and fel the same as if Ive neglected him. Im sure they're ok in there, give bump a rub and tell him/her you love them :)

Don't worry, as soon as our LOs pop out they'll feel the luuuurrve right away! xxx

hey hun, sorry you've had a rough time recently. Baby will be just fine, it's all snug and cosy in there which is what matters.

Hope things get better for you :)
xxx

i try not to cry because my friends mum is a midwife and said the baby gets comfort from your heartbeat, and when your heartbeat changes the baby wonders what mummys up to! i always think of that and when i feel shit i try to keep happy, cus the baby will think oh whys mummys heart beating faster! lol

I wouldn't know but I've heard stress is not very good for your baby. If it's only a couple of days I'd say it's OK. Hope you're feeling better soon xxx

Dont worry about making a huge effrot to talk to your baby, it can hear your voice from around 18 weeks anyway and cn hear your hear all the time and takes comfort from that.
