can anybody help me please?

Hi, can someone please help me?
I need some advice

I havent had a period since 14th may, which is very unlike me, me and my partner are trying to concieve and have regular sex. Its now the 19th july and still nothing, a little spotting but nothing worth while. I have now missed two periods, both home pregnancy test are negetive and my blood test results are negetive, what is up with me, can i be pregnant? im really not thinking about it as i know that could be why my periods are holding off. can you help please?

I'm by far no expert, but the most common cause of periods to stop without someone being pregnant tends to be malnurishment (being very underweight) or extreme stress.

Although i'm sure your doctor would have mentioned that to you...

Besides that i can only think to have an ultra sound maybe to just check that there isn't anything going on inside.

I bet there are other options but i don't know of them, although i imagine that someone on here will

okay, well i deffintaley havent lost any weight, ive actually put on quite a bit,
i dont think ive been under any extreme stress so i cant see what else it could be
im hoping its positive but i cant see blood tests ever being wrong?

my periods are all over the place, I went something like over 2 mnths without one I went to my docs. now every 21 days so who knows whats going on I didnt think I was stressed at all no weight loss etc etc it happens sometimes go see your doc again hun and ask why would it be and get the ball rolling in terms of tests or anything that could be done to find out why xxx

Have you just come off the pill? That can sometimes cause havoc with periods! Hope you get your bfp soon x x

No i havent ever been on the pill with my boyfriend, i mean in the beggining i was suppose to, but we both said back then, were in a stable relationship, living togther so if it happens it happens, we would be reli lucky! as time went on, it kinda worried me a little to have no have any signs but 2 years on, im finally 2 months with no period. Never ever missed any before.

The doc is going to test my blood again. He also said there is a pill that you can have which jump starts your periods, he said it wasnt the pill or any contraceptive just a pill to help them come so i can start again, have u ever had this, or heard of anyone having to have this pill? x

I have been off the pill ttc for 15months and nada!! my cycles are sort of regular-ish-anywhere between 31-39 days. my body is quite sensitive and if i get a little stressed then it will affect my cycle. i am no doctor but you could be stressed without even realising it? How long have you been ttc for?? I know after 15months it is all i think about which they say sometimes affects you 'trying!'. Have you had any new changes to your life since your last cycle-that may explain a few things?? But, at least you have your doc on the case-mine are crap!

yeh i did change my doc because the one i had was crap too! Erm..possibly..i lost my job about 2 months ago, its not really been that big of a deal..i dont feel stressed out but unever know..i mean im enjoying the time off, i dont even think ill end up going back to full time anyway. Well me and my partner have been having unprotected sex for 2 years, but only really trying within the last 6months-1year. It has been quite casual up until now, now that im beggining to think theres something up with me :S x

I have been trying for 15months and after a year stepped up our game and still nothing. After a year of trying, you can go to the docs and ask for tests. My partner has found out that his sperm isnt the best and his dr said that as it has been 15 months we should be referred to a specialist now. He then told me about a 21 day blood test that i need-which my GP didnt even mention...i am going to yell at my GP tomorrow!!
You can be stressed without even knowing-maybe you are worried about getting pregnant while you are not working and not even realised it. I am looking for a new job and keep telling myself, that the reason i am not pregnant is because i need to be settled with work etc...my partner is also out of work and i know if i was to get preggars i would worry about money!
If you are worrid, then get your docs to start some tests on both you and your partner.xx

when u get transferred to getting extra help does it cost to have the test done?I think these new blood tests that im going to be tested for are something to do with hormones and thiroide? some other stuff too. Has your doctor not came to any conclusion for you after 15 months? i cant really say ive been trying for 1 year, because its just been, if it happens it happens, and last few months where now seeing we should be trying harder and looking at when i ovulate. I dont feel stressed but im kinda hoping its that, cause as its not pregnancy i would rather it be stress related than something important! I see what u mean tho, either way us women will worry!

NHS is free referral but you have to say you have been trying for a year and then they will tell you the best option of tests. My situation is a little more complicated-when i was younger i had chemotherapy and a ovary and tube removed. my docs were never sure of my fertility until i tried to get preggars which i am now doing. there is also a chance that i could go through the menopause early because of the chemo drugs...so 15months and no baby isnt good to me but my GPs dont seem to read my notes properly which drives me MAD!! and now my OH tests results arent great which is why we need to be referred to hospital which who knows how long that will take! all this and im only 25!
Anyways, chin up till you get your test results and if it is hormone or thyroid they can easily be sorted.xx
